Tips for an SSC / banking-style resume
- Keep it one page. Selection panels scan, not read.
- Put typing speed near the top — for LDC, DEO, steno, and court clerk posts it is the single most relevant skill.
- List percentages (or CGPA converted) for 10th, 12th, and graduation. Most PSU and central-govt departments still ask for all three.
- Always include your date of birth. Age-limit verification is the first thing HR checks against your matric certificate.
- Avoid photos in the resume for SSC / IBPS / RRB posts; photos are asked separately in the application form.
- For Hindi typing posts, mention both the font (Kruti Dev or Mangal) and the layout (Remington or Inscript).
